As you can see, Henderson is the fourth generation of Frey men. He, his father, grandfather and great-grandfather have all had the priceless privilege of being born into a Christian home, home's where God is honored and God's Word is taken seriously. We trust and pray that he too, one day, will welcome his sons and daughters into a home that does the same.
So glad my Dad was able to share this moment with us. Many of you will remember that my Mom passed away almost a year ago - she would have been over-the-moon excited to love on Henderson but our Father had another plan. She will have to wait til she sees him in heaven someday to give him a hug. Until then we'll all try and take up the slack.
So proud of Ryan for paying tribute to his brother by giving Henderson, Kyle, as his middle name. They have always been very close so I think it is fitting for Ryan to honor both of them in this way - especially since Kyle is still in Afghanistan at this time. Because the Marine base in Afghanistan is being dismantled, we lost contact with Kyle a few days ago. So as far as we know, Kyle doesn't know when his nephew was born. We will not be able to contact him until he arrives in the states. He knew he would not be able be here for the birth so he sent a gift on ahead.
Will be back in a week or two with more agrarian musings. The next blog title?
"Hog Farmers go Hog Wild". Stay tuned. Thanks for reading!
Agrarian Blessings to all,
